Who is Kai Kim?

I am a queer, non-binary, Korean-American artist that primarily creates art in unusual spaces and in ways that center the experience of the audience. Some may call this immersive or interactive theater.
I have created, directed, and consulted on numerous theatrical experiences. I have directed dance concept videos, music videos, and short films.

I also lead educational workshops in interactive performance technique, storytelling, and acting. I created interactive curriculum at The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for their education and community engagement department. Guest artist for NYU/Open Arts; NYU/Immersive, Interactive, Site-based, and Multi-Sensory Theatre; Trinity/La Mama Performing Arts Program; Interactive PlayLab; Cloude/Cumul:us; faculty at Broadway Dance Center.
